‘Tis the season to wrap up work, close the doors, eat a lot of good food and spoil your friends and family. Calypso will be taking a break from 15 December 2022 to 11 January 2023, and we can’t wait to spend quality time with our loved ones! Liking a social media post takes a split second, which might fool you into thinking that your single Like doesn’t really mean much. But this is where you’re wrong. Every post Like adds to that small business’s klout and makes it more reliable in Google’s eyes. So, your single Like really does make all the difference.

#2 Comment and Share

Okay, now if you REALLY want to spoil your friend and give them more than a Like, might we recommend a post Comment or Share? It doesn’t cost a thing and it exposes your friend’s business to a whole new audience that they otherwise wouldn’t have had access to. It’s like a reeeeally nice box of a chocolates – but better.

#3 Refer a Friend

Getting your business out there isn’t easy, and nothing is more valuable to small businesses than word of mouth. So, help a buddy out, and recommend their business to your family and friends – and ask them to spread the word in their circles as well. Even a single lead can change the future for your friend’s business!

#4 Support Them Yourself

This is the equivalent to getting a bike for Christmas as a kid! There may come a time in your life when you need the services of your friend’s business – and you may think to yourself, “mixing friendship and business might be awkward”. But that’s a LIE. Don’t let society talk you into taking your business elsewhere – be brave and support your friend!
